Quality
Federpellami's centralized location allows for the prompt processing of hides immediately after the animals are slaughtered. The hides are carefully inspected and selected based on quality, class, and category, then trimmed and flash-frozen at 3 Degrees Celsius.
Federpellami mainly deals with red & white bulls and black/white bull hides. They use a mechanical process to remove the hides with minimum damage during take-off. These animals originate from the Northeast- and Central-European regions, known for their vegetation and climatic conditions, combined with innovative accommodations for the animals, which guarantees high-quality hides without defects such as brands, insect damage, scratches, warts, and other flaws.
Federpellami has a longstanding relationship with abattoirs and uses a hides track & trace system to guarantee a continuous supply of high-quality hides. This system allows them to quickly identify where a particular hide came from in case of damage problems, so they can provide feedback and sustain the high quality of their products.
